FREEDOM COSTS BLOOD. SO DOES MAGIC.
Everything journalists, reviewers, booksellers and content creators need to cover the first volume of the Raptøræm Saga.
A revolution won the city.
Now the people who survived it have to figure out what they built.
Raptøræm: Book I is a dark mythpunk fantasy about crime, politics, memory, family, and the extremely bad decisions people make when they think history has chosen them.
There are gang lords, empires, religious cults, feral teenagers, ugly loyalties, worse betrayals, and a city held together with steel, spite, and violence.

Short description
In a city newly freed from empire, the feared Black Maw keeps rival gang lords in line while a fragile peace threatens to fracture. As an exiled enemy returns and a young sorceress becomes the prize both sides would kill to possess, revenge and revolution collide.
Full synopsis
Six years ago, in the ruins of a massacre, a little witch tried to kill Erik Mordiger. She failed and was claimed as his heir. Now Mordiger, feared as the Black Maw, rules a city torn free from Solarium after a bloody revolution. From the Pit, he enforces order with his Raptors, keeping the Strutlords in line and brokering peace through a fragile treaty with the empire he despises. But hidden in that treaty is a secret clause: the return of Shryke, an exile who lost everything to Mordiger's rise and swears to see him fall. At the center stands Stryx, once a child with nothing, now a sorceress with a storm under her skin, Mordiger's living legacy and a prize both sides will kill to possess.
